CHITRAL: A team of armed forces officers including some from foreign countries undergoing training at the National Defence University Islamabad undertook a four-hour study tour of Chitral on Thursday.

They came here in two C-130 planes of Pakistan Air Force and were received by Commandant Chitral Scouts and district administration officers.

Later, they were escorted to a local hotel under tight security where they were briefed by the administration as well as law enforcement agencies about the strategic location and other matters relating to Chitral. After completion of the briefing, they left Chitral.--GH Farooqui
