CHITRAL, Jan 29, 2010: A digital telephone exchange was inaugurated at Bumborate in Kalash valley on Thursday.

Former tehsil Nazim Sartaj Ahmad Khan inaugurated the exchange. Speaking on the occasion he said the step would help promote eco-tourism in the area.

The newly inaugurated exchange has 500 lines, which will connect the valley to other parts of the country as well as Chitral.

Talking to this scribe Sartaj Khan said PTCL towers would also be installed at Bumborate and Rumboor valleys in near future.—APP
