Chitral bar delegation meets Chief Justice |

ISLAMABAD, Jan 25, 2010: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry on Monday underlined the need for more cooperation between the Bench and Bar to ensure speedy and cheaper justice to litigant parties.
He was talking to a 22-member delegation of Chitral Bar Association headed by President Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah and Booni Bar Association headed by President Siraj Ali Khan who called on him here on Monday, said a press release.
The chief justice said, “public have great expectations from Bench and Bar so both will have to move heaven and earth to provide justice to them at their doorsteps.”
The members of the delegation appreciated the Chief Justice for devising National Judicial Policy 2009 to ensure inexpensive and speedy justice to the public at large.
They also praised the CJ's untiring efforts to purge judiciary of corrupt practices and eliminate corruption from it to enhance the image of this important pillar of the state.
The delegation also appreciated the revised version of National Judicial Policy 2009.--APP
