CHITRAL, Jan 21, 2010:  Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahamd Khan said that no development is possible without communication network. He was speaking at a ceremony for installation of a VPTCL tower at Mori Lasht village.

He said that Koh area wasstill deprived of telephone facility and people were facing great hardships especially in case of emergency they could not contact their relatives.

Haji Ghaffar Khan, a prominent social worker of the area and government contractor, said that installation of VPTCL was made possible due to efforts and personal interest of Tehsil Nazim Sartaj Ahmad Khan.

Akhunzada Rahmatulla, Naib Ameer of Jamati Islami Chitral, also ppreciated efforts of Sartaj Ahmad Khan and said that no nation can develop without best communication network. He said lack of communication were main hurdle in the way of our development and higher education of our youth.

He also thanked General Manager PTCL Khalid Khan and Sanaullah Khan of media networking for approval of tower for this area. A large number of people including TMO Chitral Hafiz Qadir Nasir attended the inauguration the ceremony.-- GH Farooqui
